Watch: Trailer & Clip For 'Breaking Bad' Creator Vince Gilligan's CBS Cop Series 'Battle Creek'

Battle Creek"Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan is not one to leave his fans wanting in 2015. Next month, his prequel series, "Better Call Saul," finally hits the small screen, bringing more premium cable drama to the creative freedom working on AMC allows. But can Gilligan work successful magic on network TV where he’ll have to consider advertisers, network affiliates, and having to deliver cuss-and-sex-free entertainment? We’re about to find out.

"Battle Creek" finds Gilligan teaming with "House" creator David Shore for a show about a pair of detectives working the beat in the titular Michigan city. It’s definitely far more mainstream than "Breaking Bad," and it even seems somehow less edgy than "House." But there are a couple of things to note: Bryan Singer directed the pilot, which suggests there’s much more here than meets the eye, and the cast isn’t too shabby, with Josh Duhamel, Dean Winters, Janet McTeer, and Kal Penn all involved. But is this Gilligan Lite, or worse, Gilligan Taking A Paycheck?

We’ll soon see. "Battle Creek" arrives on March 1st. Check out the trailer and a clip from the show below. [Film Divider]
