Watch: Trailer For Bryan Cranston Produced Amazon Show 'Sneaky Pete' Starring Giovanni Ribisi

Sneaky PeteWill CBS‘s trash be Amazon‘s treasure? Netflix already showed they could take a network throwaway like "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" and find a receptive audience for it; now Amazon is hoping they can do the same with "Sneaky Pete," a series executive produced by Bryan Cranston that CBS said no thanks to earlier this year. For one, the first trailer is certainly interesting.

Gionvanni Ribisi leads the show as a con artist who, fresh from prison, takes on a new identity and elbows his way into a family’s bail bond business. He’s going straight in, in the most crooked way possible. Here’s the official synopsis:

From Executive Producers David Shore and Bryan Cranston, Sneaky Pete revolves around a con-man (Giovanni Ribisi) who, after leaving prison, takes cover from his past by assuming the identity of his cellmate, Pete. He moves in with Pete’s unsuspecting family and is roped into the family’s bail bond business. In order to keep the charade up, he plays the part of a skip tracer, taking down criminals worse than himself—and discovering a family life he’s never had.

Co-starring Marin Ireland and Margo Martindale, the first episode of "Sneaky Pete" will be available on August 7th, and viewer response will determine whether or not it gets a season order.
