Watch: Trailer For 'Elektra Luxx,' Yet Another Excuse For Carla Gugino To Be Scantily Clad

If you were one of the five people who saw “Women In Trouble” — and liked it — today is your lucky day as the film now has a sequel, called “Elektra Luxx,” and the trailer has landed.

Written and directed by Sebastien Gutierrez (and it looks like he was working on a budget of about $40) and starring his real life lady love Carla Gugino, the film is pretty much another exercise to get his companion to wear a bunch of skimpy outfits. But since she plays a porn star, it’s justified right? Anyway, favors were called in and Adrianne Palicki, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Malin Akerman, Timothy Olyphant and Joseph Gordon-Levitt also appear in what looks to be a tediously unfunny pic.

Anyway, in case you’re dying to know what happens next in the adventures of Electra Luxx, the film opens on March 11th. The pics are from Film School Rejects, the synopsis and trailer are below (or in HD at Apple).

Recently retired from the adult film industry, superstar Elektra Luxx (Carla Gugino) is pregnant with the child of late rock star Nick Chapel. She is trying to make ends meet by teaching a community college sex education class aimed at housewives when a figure from her past, flight attendant Cora (Marley Shelton), approaches her with a proposition. In exchange for the (stolen) lyrics to Nick Chapel’s last record, all of which is about Elektra, Cora needs Elektra to seduce her fiancee. Elektra reluctantly agrees to do this favor, setting in motion a series of hilarious events which will see her come face to face with detectives, sex bloggers, emotionally unstable neighbors and the Virgin Mary herself as she wrestles with the prospect of motherhood and tries to become a person of substance.
