50 Cent keeps churning 'em out, and what the fuck does he care if these movies are direct-to-DVD style drivel? Dude makes bank on these things so screw the haterz.
"They'll spend a $120 million on a film or a whole bunch of money making a film and then a whole bunch of money promoting it a year before it actually comes out, and the money they get back in theaters is just the money they spent… And then it goes to dvd and everything is profit there. Some of the movies I've done recently, I was financing and I've already seen a 60 percent return on what I've [been] involved with," the rapper/actor/producer said to a Tampa Bay radio station (via Shadow & Act). "They don't understand, they're looking at it and going, 'Well, it went straight-to-dvd,' and they don't realize I'm gonna get another $800,000 off each one of these projects."
And so here's "Fire With Fire" starring Fiddy himself alongside actors paying for vacations/chasing paychecks such as Bruce Willis (who already has a couple Curtis Jackson movies under his belt), Josh Duhamel, Rosario Dawson and Vincent D'Onofrio. What's it about? Does it matter? Well, in case you care, the movie follows a firefighter who goes into the witness protection program, but takes matters into his own hands when the man he's testifying against threatens the love of his life. Yawn.
