If you're scratching your head and wondering where this seemingly random Julianne Moore and Jonathan Rhys Meyers horror "6 Souls" came from, we'll set the record straight. This is actually a long shelved horror from all the way back in 2010 that was originally titled "Shelter." In fact, the movie already went straight-to-DVD in Canada two years ago, and for whatever reason, it's now finally getting a release in the U.S. But things like this are held back for a reason…
Directed by Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein (the guys behind "Underworld: Awakening" — proceed with caution), the story follows Dr. Cara Harding (Moore), who takes on Adam (Meyers), a patient with multiple personalities. But, Cara quickly discovers that Adam’s other personalities are murder victims and….well, you can probably see what path this one eventually heads down. Yeah, it doesn't look all that great, but we suppose the presence of Moore will make enough people curious.
The film will available on VOD starting March 1st but if you absolutely must see it in theaters, you'll have to wait until April 5th. Or can you just order the DVD from Canada, eh, right now.
