Watch: Trailer For 'Writers' With Logan Lerman, Lily Collins, Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly & Kristen Bell

nullTrying to get noticed amongst hundreds of films is tough, and though it premiered last fall at the Toronto International Film Festival, the indie dramedy "Writers" didn't make much of a splash. And while there hasn't been much heard about the film since then, a trailer has wormed its way online, giving a pretty extensive look at the film.

Written and directed by Josh Boone making his feature debut, and starring Logan Lerman, Lily Collins, Greg Kinnear, Jennifer Connelly and Kristen Bell, the film follows the members of a fractured family — from teenagers to divorced parents — who grapple with love and life in its various shapes and sizes. The emphasis seems to be on sex — having it, getting it, experiencing it — as various trysts are peppered throughout the movie. But there's also a bit of a coming-of-age flavor, and some mid-life woes as well.

"It's a little bit about my parents' divorce, it's a little bit about a romance I had in high school, I based some characters on my brother and sister to some degree. I just put a lot of myself into it," the director told us about the movie last year.

"Writers" boasts a soundtrack that includes Elliot Smith, The National, Bon Iver, Edward Sharpe, a new song by Conor Obert and a score by Bright Eyes members Mike Mogis and Nate Walcott. There's no release date yet, but Millenium Entertainment should be bringing the movie to theaters sometime this year. Watch below.
