If you’ve been paying any attention around here, you’ll know that everyone at The Playlist who has seen Jim Jarmusch‘s upcoming “Only Lovers Left Alive,” has been floored by it. Ranking on our list of The 21 Best Films Of 2014 We’ve Already Seen, it’s a movie we can’t recommend highly enough, a movie we called “beautiful to look at and to listen to.”
And this new U.K. teaser trailer for the film highlights both those attributes in its brief runtime, showcasing the gorgeous imagery the film offers up alongside the excellent score and soundtrack. And while you already know this is a vampire tale starring Tom Hiddleston, Tilda Swinton, Mia Wasikowska and Anton Yelchin, what you’ll discover when the film opens later this year is a wry, funny, deeply intelligent examination of art, history, culture and more but if it’s the red stuff you want, there’s some of that too.
