The idea that your best friend might actually also be your soulmate isn’t a new one in the world of romantic comedies. But that concept is given another spin in "Love, Rosie." After opening in the U.K. this fall, the rom-com-dramedy is crossing the pond for 2015 and a new U.S. trailer is here along with a couple of clips.
Lily Collins and Sam Claflin take the leads in a movie about two best friends whose life changes continually drive them apart, only to realize they should’ve been together in the first place. And while again this is hardly a fresh concept, it seems to be delivered with its heart in the right place (pun intended) and a decent grasp on what makes this kind of material work. Plus, it helps that Collins and Claflin appear to have an easy chemistry.
"Love, Rosie" arrives in theaters and On Demand on February 6th. Watch below.
