While some other sites are dropping it in the headline, we'll hold back a bit so at least that are some surprises left by time "Prometheus" hits theaters. So if you don't want to know, move along right now, because there will be spoilers from here on out.
It was recently that Ridley Scott said, "I think you might not even argue it’s a prequel because it moves so far away from the original" but it looks like one face from "Alien" may be appearing in the highly anticipated not-quite-a-prequel. CraveOnline recently sat down with Lance Henriksen who was doing press for "Tron: Uprising" and he dropped a particularly interesting little tidbit of info: “Somebody through the grapevine, I heard that they’re using a digital version of me to describe history," when asked about his involvement in Scott's film. So kind of like Jeff Bridges in "Tron: Legacy"? Is Bishop being reprised — that would be odd if the events in the film are taking place before "Alien"…unless it's an earlier model that maybe Michael Fassbender's David interacts with.
Either way, we'll have to wait and see as Henriksen hasn't even seen the footage yet. "Very interesting, I can’t wait to see it," Henriksen added. "Neither can my manager.”
Yet another puzzle piece to "Prometheus" and another tantalizing tease at what's to come. Let's hope not everything is spoiled by June 8th.
