Well, we already got a peek at what Toby Jones looks like as Alfred Hitchock in "The Girl" — one of two movies on the way about the director — and now it's time for Anthony Hopkins to step into the famous silhouette, and it's pretty impressive.
People have dropped the first look at "Hitchcock" (formerly known as "Alfred Hitchock And The Making Of Psycho"), which started filming last Friday the 13th (of course), and kudos to the makeup department because that is one helluva transformation. Impressive stuff. Sacha Gervasi is directing the star-studded pic that will chronicle the making of the classic horror film that found Hitchock battling an indifferent studio, while still managing to make one of the most iconic movies of all time.
Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, James D'Arcy, Jessica Biel, Toni Colette, Danny Huston, Michael Stuhlbarg, Michael Wincott, Kurtwood Smith, Wallace Langham and Ralph Macchio (yes, that Ralph Macchio) all co-star, and is it too early to say we're excited? Well, we're excited.
