With “The Wolverine” now without a director and with the events in Japan putting location shooting in the country — where the majority of the film is set — on hold for now, Hugh Jackman is going to do what anyone else in his situation would do. Sing.
The Wrap reports that Jackman is going replace his adamantium claws with a microphone. The actor is gearing up for a two-week run in “Hugh Jackman In Performance,” which as the title suggests, will find the thespian belting out his favorite Broadway tunes as well as selections from “The Boy from Oz,” which won him a Tony Award. We presume there won’t be too many Comic-Con fans at this one.
The show will run from May 3-15 at The Curran Theatre in San Francisco. Tickets go on sale on April 1st at 10 AM.
