Revenge is worth the wait, as Season 4 of Paramount Network’s hit drama “Yellowstone” is eyeing an early November debut, according to Deadline.
Paramount has dropped a new trailer (see below) giving fans a glimpse at Season 4 of the Taylor Sheridan-created (“Wind River,” “Sicario“) series that will see Oscar-nominee Jacki Weaver play Caroline Warner, the CEO of Market Equities that is going to be a thorn in the side of Kevin Costner‘s John Dutton, the patriarch of the series and controls the wealthy family’s sprawling Montana ranch.
Weaver is a heavyweight addition to the cast as the Australian actress has earned two Oscar nominations for her performances in “Animal Kingdom” and David O’Russell‘s “Silver Linings Playbook,” we have to assume given the show’s tone that she’ll be pulling from her ruthless character Smurf from “Animal Kingdom.”
Other additions to the new season consist of Piper Perabo (“Penny Dreadful: City of Angels,” “Coyote Ugly,” “Looper“) playing a Portland protester, Kathryn Kelly (“Nashville“) that will play a vet on the ranch, and youngster Finn Little (“Those Who Wish Me Dead“) joining the show as well. “Yellowstone” regulars include Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Cole Hauser, and Gil Birmingham.
Yellowstone follows the Dutton family, led by John Dutton (Costner), who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, under constant attack by its borders – land developers, an Indian reservation, and America’s first National Park.
The new trailer seems to indicate that things will get more violent than they have previously, also showing John being shot in what looks like some ambush on the road. “Yellowstone” returns this fall. Watch the new trailer below.
