Now that the floodgates to “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” have opened, there is no turning back. Now that the holy grail of director’s cut and movie rumors was confirmed real, people are eager to see more than a short clip. Fear not, citizens, for Zack Snyder confirms we’ll get more of the mythical Snyder Cut, with a teaser premiering at DC FanDome next month.
During a spotlight panel on Zack Snyder at the online Justice Con event, the filmmaker confirmed that the first proper teaser for his cut of “Justice League” will premiere at the DC FanDome event on August 22. Snyder said that he started working on the trailer the same week the cut was officially announced by HBO Max.
“There will be more footage [at FanDome] so you can look forward to a bigger meal, if you will,” Snyder said. “You don’t have to watch just the same three shots over and over again… That clip [the black suit Superman clip] is more for fans…it’s the realization of an idea.”
Ever since the Snyder Cut was officially announced, rumors have circulated regarding the film’s runtime, and whether it will be split up as a mini-series. Though Snyder didn’t provide clear answers, he did confirm that we will find out next month at the DC FanDome event, and praised the idea of a mini-series as an interesting experiment. Whether we end up with a “Justice League” mini-series or not, Snyder also revealed that the full runtime of his cut will be over 214 minutes, but it isn’t finalized yet.

Snyder also confirmed that he’s been collaborating with composer Junkie XL to complete the film’s score. Junkie XL already collaborated with Snyder on “Batman V Superman” and was supposed to provide the score for the original version of “Justice League” alongside Hans Zimmer; they were replaced by Danny Elfman in the theatrical cut.
