Zack Snyder Gives Stamp Of Approval For Robert Pattinson's Batman As Matt Reeves Confirms Casting

The worldwide crisis is now over. Last week’s news that Robert Pattinson has been chosen to play Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, in Matt Reeves’ ‘Batman’ reboot signals the end of a years-long speculation fest with various actors being named as “contenders” and fans yelling at each other about why their favorite actor would be a terrible Batman. Now, these fans can all join forces and complain about the “Twilight Guy” being the worst Batman ever before we even get a picture from the film.

That being said, it’s not all complaints about Robert Pattinson as Batman. Over here, we love the choice, as Pattinson has proven himself in the last several years as being one of the best young actors working today. And apparently, our seal of approval on the decision is further bolstered by the fact that Zack Snyder likes the choice, as well.

According to a recent screenshot from Vero, which seems to be the social media platform solely kept alive by Snyder and his diehard fans, when the news of Pattinson being chosen for ‘Batman’ was released, the director gave the article a “like,” signaling his approval of Warner Bros.’ choice.

Of course, whether or not Snyder’s approval means anything to you is completely up to you. For many, however, the director’s “Batman v. Superman” showcased the best version of Batman that has been seen on screen, with Ben Affleck under the cowl. So, if Snyder gives Pattinson the thumbs up, that should, in theory, stop the Snyder Faithful from being upset for WB turning its back on his DCEU vision.

And for those out there that are in denial about the “Twilight” actor being chosen, as WB has yet to release an official statement, Matt Reeves seems to confirm the news himself. Either that or he’s a big fan of sharing Bat emojis with gifs of Robert Pattinson from “Good Time.” For most people, it’s pretty clear that Reeves’ recent tweet is to confirm that the actor is his choice and will be the future Batman for at least three films. (That is, unless the first film is a monumental disaster. But let’s be real, that’s pretty much an impossibility.)
