Cillian Murphy (Scarecrow in “Batman Begins”), Ellen Page and Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard (“La Vie En Rose”) are all in talks to join Leonardo DiCaprio in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming summer 2010 sci-vehicle, “Inception.”
The film and plot are still being kept highly secretive and under wraps and the picture is still being described as a contemporary sci-fi action film set within “the architecture of the mind,” that Nolan is writing and directing.
But details are filtering out regardless, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Evidently, DiCaprio’s character is being touted as a CEO-type, Cotillard would play his wife and Page is a young college grad student/sidekick to the lead star.
James Franco was apparently in talks for one of the roles, but had to bow out because of scheduling conflicts with David Gordon Green and Danny McBride’s medieval stoner comedy, “Your Highness” (no offense to those guys, but Franco’s probably kicking himself right now.
Plans are to shoot the film this summer. “Inception” is already slated for a July 16, 2010 release date.
