All it can take is one night for tension and drama between friends, lovers and siblings to rise to the fore, and in the upcoming indie flick "Caroline and Jackie" making its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, it's one evening that changes things forever.
Marking the feature directorial debut of Adam Christian Clark, the film stars Marguerite Moreau (“Shameless”), Bitsie Tulloch (“Grimm”), David Giuntoli (“Grimm”), Valerie Azlynn, David Fuit, and Jason Gray-Stanford in the story that centers on Caroline (Moreau), who is on a celebratory birthday trip and decides visits her sister, Jackie (Tulloch) and her boyfriend (Giuntoli). But what starts out as a fun evening with close friends quickly goes askew, as the effects of the sisters’ obscure past begins to take its toll on the night’s affair. Caroline and the group attempt to support Jackie for an apparent illness – though it’s unclear who really needs the most help.
We're happy to unveil this first clip of the film, which offers a brief but compelling scene featuring Jackie and her boyfriend as their feelings are laid bare outside a bar. "Caroline and Jackie" will have its premiere on Saturday, April 21st at 5:30 p.m. at AMC Loews Village 7. Watch below.
