'Triple Frontier' Exclusive Music: Listen To Two Tracks From 'It Follows' Composer Featuring Metallica's Lars Ulrich

With an all-star cast that includes Ben Affleck, Charlie Hunnam, Oscar Isaac, Garrett Hedlund, and Pedro Pascal and a director like J.C. Chandor, it’s almost embarrassing to say that one of the biggest reasons I’m excited about “Triple Frontier” is its score. Yes, the A-list talent in front of and behind the camera is more than enough to earn my Netflix view, but with a score from Disasterpeace, I’m elated.

In honor of “Triple Frontier” arriving in select theaters this week and launching globally on Netflix next week, we are thrilled to present a sneak peek at two exclusive tracks from the upcoming score of the film, composed by famous musician Disasterpeace. Now, if the name Disasterpeace doesn’t ring any bells, then you need to immediately listen to the music below and then take a moment to enjoy the work the composer did for the horror film “It Follows.” His work is instantly recognizable and unique in the film industry. And making matters even more interesting, on “Triple Frontier” the musician is joined by Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, who performs percussion on the score.

As you hear in the two tracks, there’s an epic, and thrilling, feel to the music that will no doubt translate well to the film, which follows an elite group of former Special Forces operatives that plan a heist against a drug cartel in South America.

As mentioned, “Triple Frontier” is currently playing in select theaters and will launch around the world on Netflix on March 13. The soundtrack for the film will be released, courtesy of Milan Records, on March 8.

Here’s the synopsis for the film, as well as the exclusive tracks:

A group of former Special Forces operatives (BEN AFFLECK, OSCAR ISAAC, CHARLIE HUNNAM, GARRETT HEDLUND and PEDRO PASCAL) reunite to plan a heist in a sparsely populated multi-border zone of South America. For the first time in their prestigious careers these unsung heroes undertake this dangerous mission for self instead of country. But when events take an unexpected turn and threaten to spiral out of control, their skills, their loyalties and their morals are pushed to a breaking point in an epic battle for survival. Directed by Academy Award® nominee J.C. CHANDOR (Margin Call, All Is Lost, A Most Violent Year) and co-written by Chandor and Academy Award® winner MARK BOAL (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty).
